  TASTY CARROT LENTILS SOUP (VEGETARIAN)

Tasty Easy To Cook Nutritious Food For Breakfast Lunch Dinner _ Recipe











1/2 cup lentils

 

2 lbs carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces ,

1/2 tsp  harissa

1/4 cup maple syrup

 

1 cup orange juice

 

4 cups vegetable broth

 

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated 

1/2 tbsp ground cumin.  

1/2 tbsp curry powder

 

1 medium onion, peeled and chopped Pepper and Salt

 

 

First add orange juice, broth, ginger, curry powder, onion, and carrots into the slow cooker and mix well.  Then Cover and cook on low heat  for 6 hours.

Next add lentils, harissa, and maple syrup. Stir well and cook on high heat  for another 2 hours.

 Finally Season with pepper and salt.
